I took this picture in spring and the donkey belongs to a farmer that has a plot of land near my aunts property in Italy.
I'd actually never seen the donkey before. As soon as it saw me from a distance it gave out a loud bray and trotted fast towards me. All it wanted was to be stroked. I'm just wondering how many children today get to have a contact with farm animals ? Here in Italy the statistics are dramatic.
Well, anyway, I loved the tactile feel of its mouth. Oh my God the mouth felt like warm velvet :)
The Donkey gave me a sense of peace. A truly beautiful animal. Some may think thst the donkey connected to me because like minds think alike :) I'd take that as a compliment :)
