I Am Dissappointed I Am Not Where I Want to Be In Life

I had to step down from my role as a team leader due to I could not cope with handling 66 people. I let my myself down, and eventually let my boss down too who say that I could not improve any further by being the team leader. I feel so disappointed in myself and currently suffering from depression. I do not know what do with my life anymore. I have been given the option to go back to my previous role as a LEAD CSR in order to improve on my weaknesses however I have to spend all my energy and drive just to become a team leader again which I feel it won't be worth it. I am not sure what to do any more, and cannot seem to feel better about myself. I feel like a failure.

You led 66 people? Sounds like your boss set you up for failure. He's the one that failed, not you. Few people can do that unless the people under you are highly motivated, mature, know their job well, and work independently. And if you have to contribute as well forget it, I'm part of such a team now and all of us are over 30. Take this as a lesson, not a failure. Learn to look out for yourself and pick roles where the politics and situation don't set you up. Learn how to delegate responsibility and pick team leads undercyou to help manage the group. Investigate, ask others for their opinion before you commit. Good luck!

I once herd Trump speak .... not about his success and what he had built ... but his struggles and failures ... ... take a moment and look at what you want in life ... set a new plan to get it be that school or a career change ... then go full force after that ....

You are NOT a failure! Perhaps you have skills in greater areas! Perhaps Team leader wasnt for you, but that's not to say something better wont be for you!
