Seeing my sister being all sweet, affectionate and lovey-dovey with her two girls makes me wish we could’ve had that with our stern, no-nonsense mom. I even told that to my sister immediately after she was being all loving to her youngest...

Me: “I wish mom could have been like that with us.” 🥺
Sis: “Yeah, me too.” 😕

@Vivaci I never met my maternal grandparents, but I know she had a rough upbringing for sure. She’s just as lovable being her tough, bad-ass self, but it just would have been nice if she could be affectionate once in a while too, you know?
