I Love to Workout
So I let someone disrupt my routine and listened to their advice.
For about two weeks I laid off the weight on the compound lifts, increased reps, and did more "isolation" exercises to fill in the slack effort left over from cutting how much I bench, squat, and deadlift.
It was an utter waste of time.
I got bored of that shit and went back to focusing on heavy lifting compound exercises (deadlift, squat, benchpress, pullups) and within a week I can literally see more gains than I got from two weeks of that other shit.
The only change I'm keeping is I am back to rowing 2000 meters before every workout again. That was my idea originally though, I just stopped doing it because I wondered if cardio was even necessary. Turns out it speeds up my metabolism and makes my recovery faster.
I am noticeably less sore from heavy lifting when i row beforehand and I am noticeably hungrier throughout the day too; I dont have to make myself eat.
