I Love My Daughter

Our daughter is very spirited and loves to share her ideas at home even though she is quiet in public. She has overcome social anxiety with lots of support and active practice. She still likes to be at home though but at least now she will go out with friends and family.

Good on her for persisting with it. Teen years are especially hard for finding ones place among peers and for those of us who are introverted or just a little quieter, it can be harder. Remind her that many of the world's leaders and well recognized achievers are just like her. Quality over quantity and above all, she must always be herself.
