I Hate Being Lied to

I am so angry right now. I just replied to someone on Facebook that has the I'm ugly, nobody loves or wants me attitude. She's transgender and has been dumped on for so long she can't believe anything positive. After many posts from several people, she posted a photo of herself. She wasn't bad looking and dressed nicely. I commented that all that needed was a smile. Her reply ripped me apart. "I have NEVER smiled. Dad used to beat us kids stupid, for smiling."
HOW DARE HE!
I replied : "THEN FOR NO OTHER REASON, SMILE!!!!!!! If the man is dead and buried, smile so big that he will roll over in the grave. DAMN IT, reclaim your life. NO ONE has the right to deny any life you want!"

I am still so upset I don't know what to do, except share.

If it's true it's terrible, but I have known worse, knew a man (best friends dad) who beat some of his kids when they cried. His grandchildren grew up where they could cry but it was like something in their genes they always acted like tough little cookies, but his great grandson the other day was trying to get me to get in the sandbox and I told him I couldn't because I had an owie on my foot, and he was like and the sand will hurt and make you cry. I couldn't help but smile and think in my head take that you tyrant. Yes there are evil out there, and I wouldn't disbelieve it.......but I have been lied to by so many online that I am not sure what I would think, but if you know the person and never known them to lie then yes encourage her to SMILE. :)
