I Hate Being Lied to

Liar, liar pants on fire...what is usually your first clue that someone is lying to you?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Seems like people have different styles of lying...I need to know that person has lied and then watch how they talk, if they are nervous, if they use certain body language, etc. Some people try to be smooth and they'll talk really calmly and quietly when they are lying, but some will sound all enthusiastic to cover their lies, and others will have a fake smile on their face or evade eye contact.
The eyes, it's all in the eyes.

Also, velloric: I rarely make eye contact with people when I'm honest, well, unless I know them really well
BarbedBerry · 26-30, F
Usually when they say "Oh, by the way: I was lying". I'm incredibly gullible most of the time :/

I asked a lead at work about a rumor that someone (a supervisor) was quitting, and she immediately pressed her lips together and kept shaking her head no, exaggerated actually. And I thought to myself "Yes the supervisor is quitting"....and sure enough she did, that lead was told to keep her mouth shut and she did it in an almost comical way.
Dex me too.. I'm a pro at spotting a liar.

That so called laugh increases the dislikability total. How about Mrs C's blatantly saying "I'm not going to answer that"? Won't fly on the debate stage with Mr Trump.

I think it's whenever someone says something really nice and at the same time calling to mind the past .... it's neat though too if i'm all desperate for reinforcement. :)

@ Patti. Agreed. Mr Trump speaks truth. Mrs Clinton speaks what she believes will advance her personal selfish interest only.

tone of voice, shifty persona, wandering eyes .. most times I can just feel it .. its a curse

Jack: I have a hard time listening to her speeches, if she lets out one of those witch-cackle fake laughs it just drives me up a wall...fake and just symbolic of everything else about her. I remember last time she ran someone took a poll and they said she needed to lighten up...she started that fake laughing right after that.

Velloric: Sociopaths will make eye contact.
Velloric · 26-30, M
They don't make eye contact
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The persons name is Mrs Clinton.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
BarbedBerry: one of my sisters will use that phrase "Oh By the way..." before she tries to pull some crap on me and it's a good signal to me now that I know that. She has a pattern of doing that, well she did have it but now I'm finished with her.

Body language.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
BarbedBerry: that to me could be a sign of shyness or even a lack of self-confidence, and people with mild Asperger's syndrome have a hard time making/keeping eye contact.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Jack: I like to go to the Reverse Speech website and look at the reversals of her talking...very revealing. And compare them to Trump's reversals, I believe he is very sincere in what he speaks.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Jack: The fact that she doesn't want to debate Trump screams volumes doesn't it?
Velloric · 26-30, M
@barbedberry then that means youbare more likely to lie to me and get away with it
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@ Patti, I think Mrs C is afraid to debate Alex Trebek
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Mrs C's feathers are starting to fall off while the nose grows.

Too good to be true or over zealous.

Their expressions. I grew up among liars. I always know one when I see one.
