I Believe People Come Into Your Life For a Reason

I met this guy who changed my life. I won't say his name, but let's just call him 'Blue'. We met when I first began high school, he was a year above me. We were just friends, and I know considering the situation people would assume that I had a crush on him. But that's not it. Whenever I spoke to him or was around him there was this ethereal presence. I can't explain it any better without sounding nutty, but it's true. I never felt that way in my entire life and I don't think I ever will again. Unfortunately, I betrayed him and we never spoke again. At first, I felt really sad and hopeless. I went through a lot of pain. But looking back on all of it, I feel nothing but happiness, because of him I matured, I became a better person and I love him, I care about him and I only wish the best for him regardless of how he feels about me. And I just wanted to put it out there to find out if I'm the only person who's ever experienced that. Like...being around someone who had an aura such as that.
