I Am Anxious

Sometimes, if you alert the hotel, they'll let you check in early, after your room is cleaned.

You will be fine. I didn’t have my first plane ride until I was 29. I really was really nervous too. It’s great you are only doing a 2 hour flight to start off. If you happen to feel super nervous once up in the air, go use the restroom as an excuse to get out of your seat. It always helps me to feel better. If you feel ‘bumps” in the ride, it’s normal and you are perfectly safe. Just think of a road with potholes. Traveling through air is the same way.

As for the extra time after landing, enjoy the shops, restaurants, and free WiFi at the airport.

You can always drop off your bags at the hotel concierge if your room isn’t ready.
