I Am Spiritual

How do you deal with anger spiritually?
I try to be mindful, but it’s always after the anger subsides.

Lately, a specific issue has been making me be too angry and I do not know how to deal with it. The last bout took me a few hours to calm down, after crying it out in the end.

I think this specific issue is related to my perceiving it as unfairness, but I’m unable to let go of it.

This was the 10th or 11th time in the last 3 weeks that I got so angry. I’m starting to feel there might be some unresolved issue coz getting mad this frequently is not normal for me.

Or maybe this anger is stemming from a feeling of utter helplessness about a situation. I cannot do anything about it for a few months atleast. And i used to have patience, but i don’t know how to deal with it anymore.

I am at a loss about this.
What can i learn from anger spiritually?
I need to reflect on this more, but any advice on this is welcome.
🙏🌷

I recommend thinking about the times when you were unfair to another or went unpunished for something wrong you did. That usually lessens the anger. But to remove the anger completely you have to know that this life is itself a sacrifice and its very Maker was humiliated and put to death in the worst way

It's hard to cope with something outside of your control. Maybe the anger is born out of frustration?
Deer doesn't eat Lion but Lion eats deer, unfair.

@SIMPlyLogicalDiscipline In a way, deer eats grass, and grass is also living, alive. It’s a hierarchy of how nature is.
For humans, our own perspective about different situations is what gives rise to fair or unfair. My perspective in the situation i was facing was wrong. It was stemming from egoic want that things happen the way i wanted. I had a long open communication with the person involved, to whom my anger was directed.. and it made me realize that my viewpoint was wrong, so i let it go of that and the anger hasn’t arisen again, till now atleast.. 😅
What we see as unfair may sometimes be the best solution for us too.
I vaguley remember a story, dont know if it’s zen or what. But a farmer’s son once fell off a horse and broke his leg. His neighbors were giving him sympathies for bad luck and the farmer said, Maybe. The next day army people came to draft young men and the farmer’s son was spared coz of his broken leg. The neighbors congratulated him and the farmer again said, Maybe. 😄
@ethereal what I was trying say was, deer thinks that it is unfair haha
