Is it important we start destroying sports memorabilia to explain to people how ridiculous it is to be obsessed with sport?

No.. Just stop watching it. If you want to play sport for fun, or go support cousin Jack or Pam, then do so. But big money has turned healthy exercise and friendly competition into something close to WWE.

Not only that the undeservedly Uber rich professional athletes believe they should control social policy as if they are remotely qualified. @whowasthatmaskedman

@jackjjackson I agree. (Surprise Surprise!) But the money was created by Networks like Fox or the Indian IPL (or the recent abortive Soccer super League) wanting to monatize the whole sport and turn it into a cash cow. Bread and circuses for the masses.

Fortunately it’s optional. @whowasthatmaskedman

@jackjjackson Agreed. Then it comes back to just how average the average person is. Ans the money tells that story..

A lot of pro athletes end up blowing the money anyways. Based on what they make that is quite the feat. @whowasthatmaskedman

@jackjjackson Agreed. Here is not big time in the same way the US is. But Looking at the Footballers (our code) and Cricketers, you have to think that if they didnt have a sporting gift, they would be reporting to their Parole officer or delivering pizzas.
