I get excited from it. Most of you don't know that I have chromesthesia: seeing color through sound. That combination of the two senses is very useful between work, music, and just every day. I literally see the world differently because of it being involuntary/spontaneous. Let me tell you...Nothingnesseses's voice is gorgeous to me. This painting is the most accurate depiction of how I "see" her voice.
@UndercoverBard it is. Surprisingly, it's not that rare. Everyone actually has some sort of thesia be it spatial, letters, numbers, colors, sounds, taste, smells... the mind is amazing
@Lostpoet It really does. Helps me working in the automotive industry to having such acute sense of hearing like that, I can detect leaks easy/misfires/extra... but it can be very intense and blinding sometimes. LOUD noises cause me to see white, if they're even more intense it's like getting hit in the head with sound. Terrifying to me.
