Want to see my Hanukkah decorations?

Red symbolizes the pomegranate--one of the seven species of Israel (along with wheat, barley, grapes, figs, olives, and dates) listed in the Torah. Green symbolizes the Aleppo Pines and Cypresses of Israel and hence the transformation of the desert into a verdant land of green fir trees.
