Do you think the extinction rebellion protests are doing any good?

Someone forgot to tell them this whole fake story about predicting weather demise of humanity is already over 75 years old and those predictions had us all dead in 1970. And again in 1984. And again in 2000. And again by 2010. And again and again.

Didn't anyone bother to teach them the story of chicken little and the boy who cried wolf?

What do I think? I pity their ignorance.

They've got a question asked about them on SW, so they're obviously being noticed. Has protest worked in the past to grant civil rights? Yes. I think there's still a long way to go and unfortunately it's time-critical and also beset by the lies of the rich and powerful because they don't really care about us. Why would they?

What protests?

Well they've managed to inconvenience and irritate a lot of people. I don't know that they've made any progress towards their goals though.
