A friend of mine has a date today. She doesnt was to wear makeup because she wants to be real with him from the start.

Don't make her feel insecure. Let her do what's comfortable, plus if she can find someone who looks at her for her and not a small insignificant detail about whether she has eye bags are not that would great for her.

If she feels confident enough to go out bare-faced, let her do it. It's her choice.

I like a girl that can go without puting her face on.

I have dark circles too. I use witch hazel. It helps. In the overall picture, I doubt anyone focuses on those circles. She should just smile and be her lovely self. The circles will disappear in his eyes. Trust me. I rarely wear any make-up except for lipstick.

That decision should be totally hers. If he can’t take her at her worst, he doesn’t deserve her at her best.

It's her choice. I feel it's quite admirable that's she has enough confidence in herself to be able to do that.

If she wants to be real from the first date then I approve of that.
