I'm not a dog person. It took me a long time to get over my fear of dogs, and I'm still not entirely over it.

My friend's quiet little cat-like dog who is just about the most perfect pet I've ever met has softened my opinion of dogs significantly though :)

I was raised by a woman that treated her pets like kids and her kids like dogs

So my kids sleep in beds ,,,my dog has a very nice home of her own in the yard

I like them. Strange dogs will sit next to and lean on me. I consider this and being liked by strange cats to be one of my greatest assets.
