Do you ever do something nice for someone, knowing that they won't be as grateful as you had hoped?

Happens everytime, but I just can't help going out of my way to make people feel appreciated. *Sigh*

Yes, I knitted some slippers and was told beforehand that they would love them. Then they didn't even mention the gift, and I had to ask if they'd received it.

@purplepen I understand. If ppl would just acknowledge that they received the gift or package, then I would not be asking or wondering. Usually, when I know they received the package, I would give them a week to respond. IF not, then I reach out to them.

I believe in paying kindness forward with no expectations.

@lovingRIZA yeah I usually don't expect, but sometimes I get too excited about how I may make them feel, so I guess that could be called expecting. I just really like making people happy. Haha.

Yeah. There are some people I care for enough.

I do nice things for the ones I love because I want to, not for gratitude.

Just don’t expect them to or say anything and you won’t be disappointed

Yes. I don't expect anything in return

Yup. whatever tho.

Yes. But I don't do nice things to others for them to feel they owe me something, I do it because I'm compassionate around them.
