Do you talk to dogs with a high pitch childish voice or do you try to keep the things professional?

I talk to our dog like he's a normal person...lol

I talk firm with my lab. And in clear English. No baby talk.

I talk to animals in a normal tone.

My friend's daughter, when she was 5, observed that I spoke to her cat and baby brother with the same tones. She hastened to reassure me that they clearly both [b]liked[/b] it; the baby smiled and the cat purred. 😊
