Learning early on to play the corporate game, taking their Mission Statement, stated goals, etc. as my own then developing programs that would enhance and reinforce what was stated above. I became a role model to my peers and quickly moved up the chain of command to much higher positions. Never had to kiss butt, or compromise personal ethics, I simply made myself an invaluable member of the team.
Eventually, I trained staff below me on my own secrets of success many of my students have been elevated to much higher positions as a result.

Swallowing pain and anger to keep focus on what had to be done. Never keeping silent in the sight of something wrong. Willing to help who I can even when not always convenient. Being strong enough to be vulnerable. Trusting again after being burned. Living even when I wished for death.Success is measured in many ways.
