I Love Marvel And Dc Comics

I might start reading DC comics. I learned that Marvel and DC has a pretty big following and I'm curious to see how good the stories are. I usually read manga, have been since grade school, but I wouldn't mind reading something different for entertainment. I would read Marvel but I've heard it's more about SJW propaganda and less about plot and character development. But anyway, if any of you read comics, whether they're western or Asian, feel free to give suggestions (preferably action or horror genres).
