I just might get a different job where I’ll finally do what I want!

I worked at my current job since February. And every week I told them I wanted to be in the shop. They kept saying they would put me in there. “Trained” me and then kept me up front.
I kept pushing and pushing. But they always had a reason not to.
Today I applied at another job and told them I wanted to be in the shop.
They straight told me I’d start there. They’d train me in the shop. And they’d pay me more than my current job. PLUS it’s a lot closer to my house. I really hope I get this job because they seem upfront and honest. Unlike my current job.
