I want to learn Japanese in order to watch Anime without relying on translations and to play japanese only video games and read the text.
Plus In America you could learn Spanish to communicate with other Americans but there are already so many bilingual people in America between Spanish and English that being able to speak Spanish isn't that useful as far as finding jobs but the Pool of Japanese/English speakers is much smaller.
I'm an Anime geek so I want to learn.
