I Love Cats

So this adorable little gray striped cat (looks to be about 5 or 6 months old) has been hanging around our house, my husband is being a big jerk and won't let me bring the little guy in. He is way too thin and I have been feeding him but JP won't give in and let me bring him in the house just because we have 2 dogs 1 puppy, 3 cats, 3 ferrets and a guinea pig in the house already, he acts like it will kill him if this one poor little cat that obviously needs help comes into our home.

I give up. I am not even going to ask anymore how he feels about the cat coming inside. I already know how he feels. We don't need another pet in the house, Jamie Well Jamie isn't asking anymore JP. Tonight when he goes to work, I am going to bring the kitty in, I am going to put on a nice thick pair of gloves and I am going to give the kitty a bath, I am going to then put some Frontline on him and give him some Capstar and some wormer, and then I have a nice red collar I am going to put on him. :) Of course, he will be eating inside like a normal pet tonight, and every night after. We have been calling him Smokey, we as in the kids and I. JP has been calling him "Get lost!" Then tomorrow I will take him to our vets for a check up and to schedule for his shots and neuter, and also, of course, to check for a chip. There won't be one, this is dumping season and this poor homeless guy needs a home.........our home. Regardless while I am waiting for the appointment day to arrive for the shots and neuter I will advertise he has been found with pics of his cute self but no one will step up to claim him.

But anyway tonight after he is safe and fed I am going to write a letter to Smokey stick it in an envelope, stamp it and pretend it arrived in the mail. I am also going to make sure to put some personal possession around for Smokey a new bowl and some toys. Smokey has established residency and nothing less than a court order will get him out. 馃槀 Why am I going to do that? To get on JP's nerves for being so anti-Smokey since he showed up hungry and alone on Easter. Him not staying is not an option, and him staying outside and not coming in is not an option. And JP does not make the lone decision on who stays and who goes, and perhaps he needs to be reminded he married the crazy cat lady, I just haven't had a chance to get started on ordering the starter pack yet, but with this being Spring many will come over the next several months and honestly some we will have to help find homes but not this one. This one stays.
