I Get Migraine Headaches

My physician started me tracking my headaches. I am a little ambivalent about it. Although the migraines rarely affect my ability to work.....( yes, I am grateful )I have had a migraine for 21 of the past 30 days. I don't record the ones the seem insignificant...... if I did.... I doubt I've been headache free over the past month. I never realized how much time I spend in pain of one degree or another.

I have a friend who also has migraines, but she claims she cannot work, constantly in debilitating pain..but she can claim a pain level of 8 and go to sex clubs. ( she's bullshit),,,,,, which is to say I don't often complain because people like her are jerks and make the rest of us look like we're faking.

I am so tired of this. I wiah someone would understand and get me some relief.

My wife has suffered from bad migraines, her prescription for I think it was Imitrex (sumatriptan) helped, but is very expensive and not very many in a prescription so she had to gauge how bad it was verse how many pills she has left. One thing she found that made a ton of difference was shots of B 12. A lot less expensive and as long as you don't mind sticking a needle in your thigh can really change your life. Of course, check with and talk to your Dr.

Hope this helps, I don't suffer, but I know how real it is.
@OKWTF2 the imitrex is amazing. but expensive. I find myself waiting too long to use the rescue meds, so I don't waste them and then having rebound headaches anyway. it's kind of bleak.

@Orlando the B 12 shots have really been an amazing help when almost nothing else has helped. Certainly worth looking into.
