Hard For Some Of The Girls [I Respect And Admire Sex Workers]
I have certainly heard of some girls that haver been beaten into going out working the streets whilst undergoing this whole pandemic, which is just a horrid thought..
What I have felt for a little while is that people have thought about their own communities and friends and families, of course, during this whole time, but have not given that much consideration to those that have relied on interaction with people, face to face, to make a living....
Like prostitutes...
We've had it hard this last year or so; thankfully, I've not been the type to blow money on drink and drugs...having a young family, I have been a saver. But there's other working girls that have not had it so easy.
Whilst there are a few charities - and one's that I have financially contributed to - to help the individuals that are finding it hard, there's been nothing said about keeping communicating with their fellow workers.
To that end, I have been in contact with my friends (obviously!) in the business but also keeping in regular contact with the girls that I know just a little bit and of girls that I used to work with. I've found it's been great for people's peace of mind, different perspectives and their (and my) mental health.
Plus I get to know some of the girls in my area just that little bit better.
I have always admired working girls....we do provide a service....and we should be respected for what we do bring to society.
