I Am Sick of People Arguing About Religion and Politics

I did not vote or care to, on top of not being able to get to the poles anyway. None of those candidates appealed completely to me, and I would have voted for Bernie rather than either Clinton or Trump...but when it comes to what's going on right now, people just need to chill out. What's done is done, and we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I hope good things happen. Some are saying it will be "worse than the Bush years." I doubt it. I don't think Trump is interested in war.

I have a question. My dad is Military so he served in Afghanistan and gulf war. When America was attacked on 9-11, what were we supposed to do? It wasn't just Bush. He was given a mandate by congress.

It's only two days after the election and the decision, and it's been a shock. Some people are upset and will vent until they don't need to anymore. That's just how it is. You might have to go offline for a bit until things settle if you can't handle it. I, for one, am pissed that a white supremacist who has stated that he plans to strip people of their healthcare, repeal Roe v Wade and Obergefell v Hodges and load the Supreme Court with draconian conservatives will be in the White House, with a Congress and Senate who will let him do what he wants. Not interested in war ? He'd push the button if someone insulted his hair, because that's the kind of ego he has.
