I Believe The Road To Happiness Is Paved With Good Intentions

I love good intentions. Even some of the worst people and ideas sometimes have good intentions. That being said....

Went to a new bookclub today and apparently my friend who'd invited me talked to the leader. So when I showed up I was well welcomed but the leader decided we'd watch Witness and talk about Amish love stories to help "make me feel at home".

Bless her heart.

It was fun and I'll go again. But instead of a book club it turned in to "let's ask her about Amishy things" and one lady got really disappointed when I pointed out I'm former Amish. Apparently wanted to buy quilts from me. Which is double funny because I can't quilt if my life depends on it.

So much for stereotypes:). I'm not sure I subscribe to the good intentions, though. True enough good intentions are better than bad ones yet if people end up getting hurt, not having intentions but rather remain on the sidelines would have been preferable.

What books do you like? Do you prefer print or eBooks. I do like chatting about the different ways you can look at sentences, stories and the likes. It's different for books than for movies
@Knecht2014 Pretty much any, really.mostly non fiction but i'm reading more fiction lately. Especially science fiction and India themed stuff. I prefer ebooks because of the ease and I can get a ton for free from the library or cheap.
