I love you so much. But I still feel myself holding back because of my past. Just know that I do love you truly. I just wish I was better at opening up and telling you everything and loving you as easily as you love me. But the main reason I can't now, is because I never felt this way before with anyone. So I'm still trying to process everything.
I appreciate how caring and loving you are. How you try to understand me. You don't push me to open up. You listen to me when I try to explain my past, even though it's not something you can easily understand. You make opening up so easy because you don't force it. And even when I share things I'm not proud of, you don't judge it.
I love you so much because you are kind and caring and loving. I feel calm when I think about our future, I don't feel scared. Which is saying something, because commitment, in any form, terrifies me. Even when I really want it.
You make me so happy even when I'm not having a good day. I can't help by smile when I talk to you. You make time pass by so fast. Every day that we talk over the phone, I find myself surprised that 2 hours have pasted cause it feels like minutes. Talking to you is just, easy. Even when it's a hard conversation. Somehow we manage to turn the worst things into something funny. I never had that with anyone.
I still remember the time I fell asleep with you still on the phone. And I started having a PTSD episode and horrible nightmares and just hearing your voice calmed me down. Even though you weren't there physically, just having you talk to me was enough.
I can't wait to be your wife. To show you my hometown. To grow with you. I can't wait to work together to accomplish all our goals.
