Life happens. We don't always have time to explain. I was blocked a few minutes ago because I didn't answer someone soon enough. I went to find some warm socks!!

It could be they are on here on the sly and someone walked in. I don't think everyone tells their family or husband, wives etc that they have an account. If not then they are just friggen rude so don't talk to them again.

Batteries wear down. Service gets interrupted. Real life requires real attention. I, myself,expect whoever I'm talking to to realize these things. Of course, sometimes I just fall asleep. Oops.

Happens quite often...honestly I think it’s just the self-centered society we live in today. Also, several male users have multiple accounts on here posing as women and different people. Those people usually quit responding mid conversation (trying to keep up with their multiple accounts) or they never reply to an inbox message!

It's not this site...it's the internet. It does not pay to take any of it personally because it happens continuously. People do that because they are anonymous behind a screen and they can just disappear when they aren't getting what they want. No courtesy required

Sometimes, it happens. Due to cultural differences, it feels bad manners to leave a conversation without informing, maybe they had got a suddenly call while chatting or something like that

Yes, it's the internet. Happens all the time. Generally people are doing multiple things at once, not just on here. So I guess real life calls. I think it's a bit rude, not to say got to go, but such is the internet.

s'happened  to  me  before … i  give  'em  24  hours  and  then  block  'em.  unless  they  are  certified  wack-jobs … then  they  are  on  auto-block.

things do happen and you must go right away.Sometimes you can be chatting with more than one person.But i find a simple sorry later on helps as long as you are not in the middle of something important or personal.

I would guess it's mostly down to lack of courtesy and manners, but emergencies do happen to us all. Do they ever have the good grace to apologise next time you are chatting to them?

There are a lot of people that don't say good bye or anything of that nature. One minute they are chatting with you and the next they aren't there.

Well there could be many reasons.. including being interrupted... and internet issues. I wouldn't give it more thought.
