I Hate Feeling Like My Heart Is Breaking

I held our relationship close to my heart,
But one day I held us in my hands,
I played with us like a fragile toy.
Before I realized how careless I had been it slipped from my fingers,
I watched it fall,
Tried to grab it back,
But then it hit the floor,
It broke,
And here I am trying to glue the pieces back together again.
I don't care how hard it will be,
Fixed like new it shall become,
I don't care about scars it may leave for broke it will never stay.
I will not give up no matter how much I ache from the small pain left from the break.
