After retiring, a Marine Gunny Sergeant became a high school teacher. He injured his back just before the school year began and wore a light plaster cast around his upper body. Fortunately, it wasn't noticeable under his dress shirt and suit coat. He found himself assigned to a class of some of the toughest students on the 1st day. All of those smart alek punks had heard of his prior military experience and were eager to test his ability to control a younger generation. He confidently entered the rowdy classroom, opened a window, and sat at his desk. All eyes were apon him when a strong breeze made his tie flap. He picked up a stapler and stapled the tie to his chest. There was silence, nothing but silence. That day and the rest of the school year went smoothly.
