I Find Ageism And Age Assumptions Very Depressing

Why are people so ageist especially men? Its kind of annoying to when you hear it from the same ppl like friends, its like "shutup" we are going be old some day.

Ageism isn't restricted to old people. It's a prejudice based on age whether that be teenagers or very young people or in fact any age at all. It's a prejudice like any other.

Age should be celebrated whatever the age. Young and old have so much to offer🙂

@Hasmita I could not agree any more. Yea! Today someone called me "kiddo" my ophthalmologist doctor and I was like thinking, "Dude I am 30 and have a career haha along with paying my own bills and having my own place.

It happens in the other direction to ,there are people here that have my entire age group blocked because it's 18 to 21.
