Think of me unkindly
Especially when I'm gone
Erase the many happy days
That I soldiered on

Drown them in the mired dreams
That vanished long ago
And blame me for the things I've done
As I sink below

Think of me unkindly
Myself that's all I see
While looking back at all the past
And the darker memories

All the many pains endured
Through all the longer years
The good outweighed by all the bad
Creating rivers out of tears
