Food, Fuel, Electric Costs Expected To Dramatically Rise

This week, the Bloomberg Agriculture Spot Index — which tracks key farm products — surged the most in almost nine years, driven by a rally in crop futures. With global food prices already at the highest since mid-2014, this latest jump is being closely watched because staple crops are a ubiquitous influence on grocery shelves — from bread and pizza dough to meat and even soda.
Gas prices jumped over 9% in the past month and they’re not expected to slow down anytime soon.

Gas prices are up 22.5% from the previous year and were the biggest contributor to an overall increase in goods and services in the nation, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index. Fuel prices pushed a 1-month increase in the overall price of goods for March that was the highest in nearly 9 years.

Good thing your taxes are being raised too. 🙄
I understand. Now back to Chris Hedges (who also understands) Michael Hudson also understands.

The truth isn't a left/right thing BTW. There are serious critics of the BIG DISEASE groupthink..on BOTH sides of the spectrum and all in between too.

And I promise you all of these things will go down. Why is that you ask ?
Because it always does. Especially once we reach certain interest rates and full employment. 🙄

[@322117,Zonuss] Actually.... No.. As Government subsidies are removed, Americans will actually see the real costs of some of the things that have been kept controlled in that non socialist economy ..
