I Love Swimming

i implore every person here to learn to swim and to make your kids learn how. its never to late to learn. to many people drown simply because they dont know how to swim

I have the greatest love of swimming and am sure my kids could swim at a very young age! Children drowning is a tragedy, and one is solvable. Im alwsys surprised when i hear an adult can't swim. Mainly because its so relaxing and fun, but also it must be terrifying to be around water if you don't know how.

@rottenrobi: i teach swim lessons we take kids as young 6 months only requirement is that they must be crawling.

today was real fun had a new student a 3 year old whose never had lessons before. under 3 kids have a parent in the pool with them but not over that. the kid paniced and wound up slapping me lol. it happens.

Never learned. Afraid of water. At age 62 not going for swimming lessons. Too many people traumatized me about this when I was a kid. But to all that love the water, enjoy and be careful.

@feathers: just stay away from water than. this is more important about children learning to swim and parents with small children. i lost a brother to drowning at 4
