Why does this girl tell me to let her know when i dont have her number in the first place?

me & this girl i like worked in a small retail place we close togther many nights

she will be like let me know if there is a bank deposit

or if the registers are short money

but i dont have her phone number

I'm so sorry but, lol 😅 I'm sure there's reasons, not sure what. It would be hilarious if you have her a deadpan face and said, "I can't do that" she'll inquire of course. Then hit her with a slow drawn out, "I .... Don't...Have...The..Number" End with a blank stare 😂❤️
