I Know That I Am Blessed

For the past 13 years 24/7 I was a dedicated caregiver. I was his nurse, his maid, his cook, the barber, the secretary, the gopher, the mechanic and the list goes on. I never had paid vacations, respite care, I was always sleep deprived and didn't have any social life but online. I had people telling me that I needed someone to take care of me for a change. I also had people telling me that someday I would blessed with the same measure I put out. A very special man has entered my life that I've been writing about. He takes incredibly good care of me. I've never had a man like this in my life. He truly has the gift of service and he says I'm worth it. Maybe it IS my time...
