I Am Barefoot

"Yes, I am barefoot." Sometimes I answer like that, when people realize in astonishment: "Oh, you're barefoot!" My family, our friends and neighbors know that I am always barefoot, except at work. For other people it is surprising to see me going barefoot in stores, to the doctor, to the church or to offices, especially in cold weather conditions. If they give me the opportunity, I explain that I walk barefoot since my childhood and that it is a basic need for me to live without shoes.

'Bare foot' is also a term used to describe horses which are not shod, as some equestrians, myself included, do not like putting shoes on horses' feet.

@BalmyNites Think it's better for horses and for people to live barefoot.
