If someone speaks ill of you, would you feel hurt even if it's not true?

I would be upset because that false information could ruin my reputation. I'd be more that they lied. A former unprofessional boss of mine did this to prevent me from getting more work because she was mad that I was trying to leave her company. In the end I was pissed, but I got the better job anyway, and left her helpless.

It would feel upsetting but I'll forget about it quickly too unless its someone who means/meant something to me.

I know who I am, so if it's not true and I know it, I don't care. well if it about by works I will feel insulted

If it was someone whom i valued and loved too much it would definitely hurt me..

It will feel weird if there is image about the person.. but then it goes away fast too.
