Sure you can. I have those kind of moments all the time. There's so much to appreciate, especially when you live in a first world country, have access to food and shelter as well as education and free speech.

That's true. :)

we don't need a reason to be happy; some people undergo horrors and still can feel grateful and happy for what they do have. true happiness is not dependent upon another person, thing, or event turning out a particular way.

So true. ^^ Thank you :)

I don't search for the reason for my happiness...somedays i wake up and i think why the hell am i happy??
same goes for sadness..
somedays I feel so grumpy and i don't know the reason..:(

But why question the happiness? If we don't know the reason, then it doesn't mean we shouldn't be happy, coz everyone wants to be happy. :) But we can question n find out the reason behind sadness, or grumpiness. Something might be irritating, or it might be the thoughts themselves. 0.o

A proper reason would be there always. Cause and Effect, you know.
