Do I see myself in "other" or do I see "other" in myself? Or is it not even separated at all?
with "refract" I take it that you mean: You see something and it refracts into something else and not reflect back? :S

I just saw this! Very well said. If the person is acting out of a honest or sincere standpoint, it wouldn't be a facade, would it?! I guess it depends on situations. And ultimately it all comes back to what is a facade or an act and what is being yourself truly.. Our personalities are always changing according to our experiences. Even that should be taken into consideration. A person's behavior or personality a few years ago and today wouldn't be the same so people who know him/her might not really believe all those changes in him and consider all that a facade, and so that person plays the act like he/she was back then..but what does it matter to him/her now, coz he/she knows that its merely an act.

ooh interesting question. I used to be more of a chameleon than a mirror, reflecting back whatever everyone wanted me to be. Do others see themselves in me? I highly doubt it. No refracting, bending the image doesn't seem right. I do absorb and redirect though...

I try to be reflective, but my aperture is off and in my parabolic shape its hard to really stay too focused on things like that
