What is your best advice for dealing with grief?

LarryZ · 56-60, M
Celebrate the good times you had with the person and move on. Sounds cold hearted, but life does go on (horrible thing to say to someone in grief tho). Best to live your life instead of wallowing in grief and missing out.

talk about it. let it out. that makes it easier to talk about, each time. rach time taking away a layer of pain. if its a real painful grief that makes you feel like crying, when it comes. force yourself to laugh. it shouldn't take much effort to get laughing. it works with physical pain too

Potato - and good friends. Message me if you need to talk.
But it's time to be silly and laugh. You need to laugh. It's cathartic.

Don't deny it, let it out and move on as best as you can, I guess.

I have and will. It sometimes makes another run through when least expected though, and this is one of those times.
