i dont see people as so selfish. everyones got to have their own back and make their own way in life. i think needy people call other people selfish when the whiny act they throw out stops working.

Babies are born self-centered. We have to be taught not to be so self-absorbed and greedy. I guess that some people just never quite got the message.

They are either assholes or they have been treated in a wrong way that they stopped caring. I believe either of those can lead to selfishness.
