I Im Honest

Im honest, brutal and blunt a lot of times. A lot of times people cant take. I never had a childhood and have always taken care of my family.

I have a lot of resentment and hate towards my family because I was a kid making adult decisions.

As a mother, my son has had it good. We live in a nice place, no crime and he has been in the same school system all of his life. He has friends from his school system that he has known all his life and they are still close and they are all in college.

Well my issue is that I had to constantly change schools because of our homelessness. When is it going to be my time to live my life?

Honesty is a really good trait. I do my best to be very honest, and yes it gets me in trouble sometimes too.

It sounds like you have done a really good thing by your son. Good for you to provide for him and help him stick it out in school and training him to value friendship.

To live your own life you have to forgive and move on from the past. It sounds like you are carrying a lot of hurt from your parents actions. I know it is a hard thing to say and a harder thing to live out but you will continue to carry that pain and it will hold you back if you cannot forgive and let go.

I felt like raising my kids [i]was[/i] the time of my life. Not necessarily exciting, but very rewarding. But I didn't have to raise my parents first, like you.
