Single And Happy

It's tempting to fall in love but I refuse. I know it will just end in pain like all relationships do. Either that or I'll be cheated on. We're not a monogamous species. I choose to be single because it's not worth investing in relationships.

I was married for 28 years But the marriage fell apart once my children were adults and finish their studies. We did have many happy years but we grew apart

@HotDad I regret not working harder on the marriage to develop more shared interests so we would still be together. A relationship requires commitment and caring just like looking after a garden. My daughters are now 28 and 30
