How much can Wikipedia be trusted?

My whole life I have been told that Wiki features false information but I never encountered anything that seemed skeptical. Even my AP World History teacher lets us use wikipedia

I check out the references given at the end. Find it fairly reliable most of the time. Often leads me to good sources.
