It makes no sense for these to be banned
Exactly....@Miram

I don’t get it. Some of those are still read by students in schools across America.
Miram · 31-35, F
@SW-User I think it is false or were banned maybe in the past
SW-User
@Miram It must be
@SW-User Okay, Let me try again. The banning of books in the USA is NOT uniform or across the board. What is banned in Alabama might be fine in Neveda.

OUR POINT IS NONE OF THESE SHOULD EVER HAVE BEEN BANNED IN THE USA EVER!!
Oh my!! I have read 8 out of 9 and I can't understand why they are banned...

My favorite is Lord of the Flies... I need to read number 5.
SW-User
You KNOW it!
@SW-User You will make a noise hon?
They renamed the Laura Ingalls Wilder Award and were talking about adding little house on the prairie to that list. I wonder what happened with that.

I have read each and every one of them!

@Stereoguy The Evangelicals have tried as they considered Atticus Finch a man of sin for defending a black man wrongly accused of raping a white woman. But it was the 50's and still to early to consider innocence.

His signing the Declaration was no act of herioism My ancestor (John Hart" spend the rest of his life mostly in hiding. This book think has had my blod ROILING for over 20 years.
