Can you count the books you've read and do you even really remember them?

I love reading. So lots. I remember what I need to.

I read tons when i was a kid.. My fav was mystery series.. I read all the sherlock holmes stuff i could find and nancy drew and the hardy boys and box car children and encyclopedia brown and other things

And also horse story series like Misty and also whatever i read almost everything i could find

No I can't because it would be in the 1000s and certainly not all.

I've read quite a bit, and can remember the gist of the ones I liked.

I don't remember every single one but I do remember a fair amount.

Somewhere between 3500 and 5000 I think. And no, I can't remember all of them, not without some sort of hint anyway. My personal library is about 3500 books. Downsizing it now because I'm 63 and won't have time to re-read them all. As a teenager I devoured books at the rate of roughly one a day, but now it's closer to one a week.

I've only read about 5 books in the past five years but prior to having a child... I read too many to count.
