Do you ever start to read a book which turns out to be boring but because you've spent so much time on it, keep reading?

I have this strange quirk where I am unable to stop reading something after I start it. So it's been something I do.
Lately, I've been dropping boring books though.

@SW-User Thanks. We should start a club for listing books we wouldn't recommend. But go and read "Diana" by R.F. Delderfield !

No I read it till I get the concept of the story but if it is tiresome I don’t read at all

@Anonymouslyyours86 I seem to recall Jane Austen could be tiresome for ages and then suddenly get the bit between her teeth, or wherever.
