Do you like to learn from books and what do you think of people who don't?

Whenever I need to know something, learn something, or have some problem I figure it out by reading information from reliable sources. I don't understand people who at the most only consider information they heard from some other person like a friend and then they refuse to learn anything contrary to that.

Most of my learning came from and comes from reliable sources (like reading) and from close observation/questioning and personal experience...I don't take much of anything at face value alone.

I can learn from books. But i learn from my professors, my mentors, online journals, etc. I don't really think anything of people who don't learn from books. Some people don't have access to them.

People who read and seek information from reliable sources are intellectually curious. Like us. I am saddened by the increasing number of people who say they don't read at all.

I like to learn from reading (books or not) and personal experience. I can also copy most things I see, but I'm not sure how, so I avoid that.
